CONSULTANCY SERVICES
The JESSOP Consultancy offers independant advice and guidance regarding all aspects of work, or proposed change within the Historic Environment.
Principally this relates to individual historic buildings and their settings, but recent projects have involved infrastructure projects of varying sizes in an urban setting, the HLF restoration of Cannon Hall gardens, along with advice to restore and re-develop rural farm complexes and numerous Listed Buildings throughout the Peak District National Park.

We are experienced at preparing Heritage Statements, Historic Building Appraisals and Archaeological Desk-based Assessments. These documents are frequently requested as part of the planning process and identifiy what hertiage assests, or archaeological features might survive with a development site, building, or landscape.
Once the heritage potential has been established we work with Clients and their consultants to mitigate against any harm that might be caused as part of a planning application.
